Cefic confirms commitment to Paris climate agreement
Cefic, the European chemical industry association and industry CEOs reacted immediately to Donald Trump’s stated intention to withdraw from the Paris agreement.
Cefic stated that it backs a strong global climate change agreement and that the European chemical industry aims to be a pillar for tomorrow’s low carbon economy, with innovative chemistry supporting renewable energy, energy storage and energy efficiency, essential for the global economy as well as for the environment.
