Dow Voratherm HFFR building fire safety performance
Dow has launched in Europe halogen-free flame retardant technology VORATHERMTM CN 100 for rigid polyurethane foam used in construction panels. The polyisocyanurate (PIR) formulation uses Phosphorus, Inorganic and Nitrogen (PIN) flame retardants to achieve top Euroclass fire ratings: up to B-s1, d0 fire reaction and low smoke.
The product enables production of sandwich panels to meet stringent fire safety and sustainability requirements, offering good processing, panel quality and durability and high thermal insulation.
