Vishay Intertechnology is a global leader in electronic components (semiconductors, resistors, capacitors …), since 1962. The company’s new compact ceramic disc capacitors are designed to ensure extremely high reliability and are the first in industry to offer pulse strength of 10kV, resist temperatures to 85°C and relative humidity of 85% (at rated voltage for 1 000 hours).
Compact design enables diameters down to 7.5 mm for use in power supplies, smart meters, white goods, industrial equipment and consumer electronics. These levels of performance are achieved including with a Vishay Green encapsulation resin with UL94-V0 fire performance using PIN flame retardants, conform to JEDEC® JS709B “low halogen” standard.
