Peter Gohl, Farrel Pomini, presented performance compounding equipment offered by his company. Innovative screw design and control systems ensure low shear forces, low mixing temperature increases, and high flexibility continuous operation. This makes possible the production of high loaded compounds with good mixing and reliability (e.g. over 85% inorganic flame retardants in EVA / LDPE).
The units can achieve mixing with a residence time of 20 seconds and temperatures up to 240°C, enabling high productivity.
