Mylene Ghislain, Ecole des Mines d’Alès, France, presented a new method for assessing gaseous emissions of phosphorus ester flame retardants from foams in consumer products, such as furniture. Out of seven phosphorus FRs analysed, only three were detected as gaseous emissions (TEP, TBP, TCPP).
