Correction
This article reported a Netherlands RIVM report which referred to the Solvolyse process which re-dissolves EPS (expanded polystyrene) to remove HBCD and enable recycling. It should be noted that this process, now CreaSolve®, has been improved to achieve well below 100 ppm HBCD (the EU POP regulation limit).
