Flammability, Smoke and Toxicity (FST) Requirements in Transportation, Building and Construction organized by PINFA-NA. The session will discuss the various trends toward more stringent flame, smoke density and toxicity requirements in different industries.
Mass transit (ground and rail transportation, commercial aircraft (covered by FAA regulations as well) and building/construction industry use of composite materials drive the need for stringent FST regulations. Materials research advances and test methods developments are important to FST advances. This panel is made up of experts covering a number of these fields of technology in order to provide the latest information and technology to attendees.
