pinfa projects at Fire Resistance in Plastics 2017
The full programme of the AMI FRs conference, Köln, 5-7 December 2017, is now published. This year, nearly every presentation on flame retardants addresses PIN FRs, covering phosphorus, nitrogen, metal hydrate, silicone, siloxane, graphite and other novel PIN FR chemistries.
Two projects supported by pinfa are presented: pilot recycling of PIN FR plastics, by Fraunhofer LBF, Germany, and the impact of PIN FRs on smoke toxicity, by CREPIM, France.
