Japan based engineering polymer specialist Polyplastics, founded 1964, offers PIN flame retardant PBT resins (polybutylene terephthalate), adapted for performance applications in electronics and automotive.
The non-halogenated flame retardant DURANEX® PBT NF Series also offers considerably improved tracking resistance, enabling design flexibility because of shorter creepage distances between terminals in electrical components. Polyplastics presents the material as UL94 flammability V-0 class at 0%, 10%, 15%, 20% or 30% glass fibre content.
