100 participants at pinfa-China Energy Storage System Safety Workshop, Suzhou, 30th November 2023, included upstream suppliers and downstream customers of the energy storage industry. Gathered on the banks of Fen Lake Suzhou, the workshop discussed the market prospects and fire safety challenges of China’s energy storage industry. To respond to these new challenges, workshop participants suggest to formally establish a conference in China to bring together the whole value chain on Energy Storage System: tier-1 and tier-2 suppliers, OEMs, plastic compounders, pinfa members, fire testing labs and Chinese authorities for fire safety.
The Suzhou workshop was organised by pinfa China and members Clariant, Budenheim, Huber, Nabaltec, Italmatch, JLS and Presafer.
