EU to support brominated FR substitution

Tender for 390 000 € to provide support to promote substitution of BFRs, in automotive, construction and cable applications. Open to 7th July 10h00. The aims are to set up a framework for substitution planning, fostering collaboration among actors to identify highly performing, safer, and cost-effective alternatives to brominated flame retardants (BFRs) in automotive, construction and cable applications. This should include a substitution pathway, action road maps and pledges, promoting innovation and investments.
