Interflam 2025
pinfa presented benefits and risks of PIN flame retardant use at Interflam 2025, Royal Holloway, University of London UK, 30th June – 2nd July 2025. The conference brought together 360 participants from nearly 40 countries for three days, with nearly 125 presentations and 90 posters. The conference provides an interface between researchers, fire safety engineers, fire services, regulators and designers so that good fire science can be promptly harnessed to provide a safer built environment. Adrian Beard, pinfa President, explained how PIN FRs and PIN smoke suppressants contribute to fire safety and how they can reduce smoke emissions and smoke toxicity.
