PIN FR for furniture fire safety

Axelium launches furniture and bedding fire barrier solution based on its organo-silicon PIN flame retardants. The non-halogenated, non-antimony FR treatment can be applied to textiles or foams, including cotton and viscose (regenerated cellulose), to provide water-resistant, flame retardant barrier. Application uses conventional textile finishing equipment. Treated fabrics self-extinguish in under four minutes (16 CFR 1633), show reduced fuel load and retain fabric strength.
