PIN FR recycled polypropylene

Ecobat launches 100% PCR (post-consumer recycled) polypropylene with PIN flame retardants for UL 94 V-0. The material offers density, impact strength, durability and processibility comparable to virgin polymer and is the first 100% PCR polypropylene to offer industry standard UL 94 V-0 fire performance. With 35% glass fibre content, the material has also obtained DBL 1000 approval (Mercedes Benz automotive specification). The PIN FR PCR is available in some thirty different grades adapted for injection moulding, extrusion and uses including automotive body parts and cable conduits, consumer electronics, e-bike battery enclosures. The material offers circularity and carbon emissions benefits and is named finalist in the Plastics Recycling Awards Europe.
